Rare original set of five Universale 4869 chairs, designed by Joe Colombo for Kartell, dating from 1973. The chairs are made in the original white finish and form a beautiful, coherent set from the same production period.
The chairs are in good vintage condition, with only subtle signs of age and useconsistent with their age. The white surfaces remain clean and attractive, with a lovely original appearance.
Each chair has a very fine, stable hairline crack in the upper backrest area. These are extremely discreet and require close inspection to notice. They are stable and do not detract from the overall appearance or functionality of the chairs.
