Vintage Barovier e Toso Murano Glass Wall Sconces

Set of 5 Barovier e Toso Sconces

These beautiful Murano glass wall sconces were manufactured by Barovier e Toso in the 1960s. The leaf shaped glass is handblown and is infused with gold using the ‘foglia d’oro’ technique. The reverse side of the leaf was made using the “Rugiada” technique with minute fragments of glass to diffuse light. This technique was developed by Ercole Barovier in 1938. The glass is held by a brassed wall mount.

On our website we offer several other vintage Barovier e Toso lights: a pair of blue and white wall sconces, a flush mount, and this very large flush mount

The glass and brass are in very good original vintage condition. Each lamp fits one E14 light bulb.

We have 5 sconces in total available, the sconces can be bought as set of 5, as set of 3, or as set of 2. Please contact us to discuss your wishes. More pictures can be provided on request.
